Dozens of law enforcement officers from across Milam County and beyond were on hand Friday afternoon at the Law Enforcement Center in Cameron to honor the late Sheriff David Greene one day before the first anniversary of his death. A plaque was dedicated along with a green door—a play on the late sheriff’s last name—at a side door of the building where Greene would take brief breaks and dispense information and wisdom. Rockdale Police Chief Thomas Harris is fifth from right in the photo.
