There was plenty of weather excitement overnight Sunday in addition to the damages at the Rockdale Country Club (see above) as a late spring thunderstorm moved through.
Thorndale firefighters responded to a power line across the 1200 block of County Road 450 at 12:08 a.m. No fire was reported.
While on that call, the TVFD also responded to a fallen tree blocking a road at Thorndale High School.
At 1:02 a.m., the Rock-dale VFD was called to a tree branch smoldering in the 400 block of East Sixth, a call that referenced a power line.
At 11:11 p.m. Milano volunteers were summoned to a report of several blown transformers along US 79.
