An incident reported at a Rockdale business ended with the Saturday arrest of a 23-year-old Rockdale man.
Lt. Stephen Goodrich said Jesus Llanas Sanchez was charged with indecency with a child/sexual contact. He said the incident involved a 16-year-old female.
Sanchez remained in the Milam County Jail at press-time, in lieu of $20,000 bond.
DRUGS—A pre-dawn traffic stop Friday resulted in numerous drug offenses being filed against two Rock-dale residents.
Derek Tremayne David, 26, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams), possession of dangerous drug, tampering/fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair and criminal trespass. He remains in custody on $34,500 bond.
Kim Marie McIrvin, 51, was charged with possession of controlled substance (1 to 4 grams), tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair, possession of controlled substance (3 to 28 grams), possession of dangerous drug. She remains in custody on $35,000 bond.
ACCIDENTS—Police were called to a multi-vehicle accident at 3:35 p.m. Thursday on US 79 in front of Rockdale Auto Specialties.
Drivers were listed as Jacob Siptak, 18, of Hutto, 23-year-old Johnny Zamron Jr., 23, of Hutto and Dennis Moran, 48, of Round Rock.
Police said also involved were trailers owned by Texas Curb Cutt of New Braunfels and Blueline Rental of Indiana.
Police said a 5:10 p.m. Dec. 11 accident at the Cameron-Burleson corner involved a car driven by Jasmine Gamboa, 22, of Florence and a parked pickup.
CALLS—Officers responded to 170 service calls during the week and there were 104 calls to 911.
