After a delay in getting materials delivered to the site, work has resumed on the new Rockdale Police Station in the 300 block of East Cameron Ave. (US 79) and it’s about to go into high gear, according to City Manager Chris Whittaker. The superstructure profile of the new PD is changing rapidly and, weather permitting, the project remains on target to be complete by March. Until then Rockdale police headquarter remain in the 123-year old former City Hall.
