Beginning November 2, the Texas Department of Transportation’s contractor will begin construction operations to smooth and inlay the existing pavement and perform other miscellaneous work consisting of sidewalks, signals and lighting, drainage structures, and pavement repairs. Drivers can expect delays, and various lane closures throughout the duration of the project.
TxDOT asks for the public’s patience during this work. Please watch for traffic control and messages. If possible, TxDOT encourages drivers to plan for extra travel time through this area or seek other routes.
This project is contracted to Big Creek Construction for $4.54 million. The project is expected to be complete in May 2022.
