—Rockdale ISD student welders competed seven times during 2018-19 through th Texas High School Welding Series at locations from Rockdale to Houston. RHS welders were recognized at the year-ending awards series Thursday at Cypress Ridge High School as follows: Cody Vance, second in cutting, AWS (American Welding Society) certification; Andrew Mulac, 10th in quiz and tool ID; Joseph Nieto, fifth in Level One; Dalton Hubnik, seventh in cutting, AWS certification.
