The yard of Lida Butler, 527 Bowser, has been named yard-of-the-month for May by the Rockdale Earth Day Committee which is administering the monthly awards. She received a $25 gift certificate from Bloomers Garden Center in Elgin. Nominations for June must be received by May 20 at rockdaleearthday@yahoo.com.
