YARD OF THE MONTH

Bob, Cathy and Beau Slobod were awarded Rockdale Earth Day’s (RED) Yard of the Month for April. Chairperson of RED, David Melton, said the nominated yard was deserving of the distinction because the couple created, “a great combination of shrubs, bird baths, yard art, decorative rocks, peace posts and sidewalks which make for a beautiful front and backyard.” The Slobods will receive a gift certificate from Giddings Nursery & Garden Center.
