Nominations for Rockdale Earth Day’s Yard of the Month award for April are due by Wednesday, March 22.
This year, any yard with a Rockdale mailing address can be nominated. Winning homeowners will receive a $25 gift certificate to Bloomers Garden Center in Elgin.
“We appreciate the effort of the many households that help make our town a more beautiful place to live, work and do business,” said Chairperson David Melton To nominate a yard, send an email with the address of the property to rockdalearthday@yahoo. com.
