One of the surest signs that the school year is about to end is the presentation of “Texas,” a musical featuring first graders at Rockdale Elementary School. The play was performed Friday in the elementary gym before an appreciative crowd of parents and other visitors. The play includes several musical numbers featuring all things Texan, including, of course, plenty of cowboy hats and mentions of bluebonnets, ridin’ and ropin’ and Texas pride.
