—Here’s an illustration of the problems faced by the City of Rockdale, and particularly its water customers, in dealing with the ongoing “red water”situation. Recently city crews replaced part of a water line on Wilcox north of the Cameron Avenue (US 79) intersection. This was the inside of the century-plus-old water line which came out of the ground. The city has been replacing water lines as money becomes available.
