BLOCK (AND TACKLE) PARTY—Okay, maybe lots of football fans watched their favorite teams play on big-screen TVs during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend but they’ve got nothing on Enfield Drive resident Lin Perry. Thanksgiving night Perry set up the portable screen from the Kay Theatre, used for outdoor movies in the summer, and showed the Texas-Texas A&M game for guests and block residents. The event drew a crowd despite a genuine Texas norther which blew in Thanksgiving afternoon and dropped temperatures more than 30 degrees. Football fans had a great time, especially Aggie backers who saw their team defeat the Longhorns 24-17. 026p1.jpg
