Rockdale High Schools’ baseball field renovation is essentially complete. School trustees were told Tuesday the final walk-through was made earlier in the day. There was good news as architect Jennifer Olson reported project expenditures of $573,138, $20, 632 less than the $593,770 budgeted. She said several items not in the original plans were added, including a batting cage light. The renovated field will host the annual alumni game Saturday, Feb. 19, and will have its official grand opening on Tuesday, Feb. 22.
