That’s the plea from members of the Crown Garden Club of Rockdale which, as a public service, sponsors the paper recycling bin on the First Christian Church parking lot on Bell Street. “Please do not leave boxes, sacks and stacks of paper when the bin is full,” said Carolyn Burford, the club’s recycling project chair. “The high winds we’ve experienced lately scatter the paper and creates a nuisance,” she added. The bin, and another located at Rockdale High School, are emptied periodically. “Please just wait until there’s room in the bin,” Burford said. She and husband Frank are the volunteers that tend to the garden club’s bin. 73p1.jpg
