Brown
Services for Angel M. Brown, 79, of the Pleasant Grove community were held Sunday, July 20, 2008, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with Rev. Geary McManus of McDade officiating. Burial was in Hugh Wilson Cemetery in Tanglewood.
Mrs. Brown died Friday, July 18, at her home in the Pleasant Grove community near Lexington.
A Pleasant Grove resident for 43 years, she was born Oct. 2, 1928, in Laredo to Vidal Sepulveda Sr. and Olivia Moreno Sepulveda.
She married Rodney C. Brown and he preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 1994.
Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Eastern Star and Bexar County Genealogical Society.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ofhelia King; and a brother, Vidal Sepulveda.
Survivors are three sons, John R. Brown and wife Judy of Rockdale, Ricky Brown and wife Michele of Lexington, Wynn Brown and wife Melanie of Waco; four daughters, Angel Brown of Temple, Alice Brown of The Colony, Madeline Stifflemire and husband Gary of Blue, Rhonda Hosea and husband Eddie of Lexington; a sister, Elisa Martinez of Lexington; 15 grandchildren, Jason Brown, Rodney Drake, Justin Brown, Amanda Armstrong, Hilary Stifflemire, Jimmy Brown, Jordan Brown, Lance Hosea, Loren Hosea, Marcy Stifflemire, Meredyth Brown, Brandon Stewart, Emily Brown, Allison Brown and Andrew Brown; and eight great-grandchildren, Kinzey Drake, Ashton Drake, Travis Drake, Faith Brown, John Austin Brown, Tyler Brown, Preston Armstrong and Angel Lyllyan Armstrong.
Pallbearers were Jason Brown, Justin Brown, Jordan Brown, Jimmy Brown, Andrew Brown and Rodney Drake.

Miller
Services for Dutch Miller, 51, of Rockdale were held Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Springer officiating. Burial will be at Weston Cemetery in Weston, Idaho, on Saturday, July 26.
Mr. Miller died Sunday, July 20, at his home.
A Rockdale resident for 21 years, he was born July 29, 1956, in Faith, South Dakota, to Gaillard “Spike” and Betty Mae (Englemann) Miller.
He married Tammy Stone on Sept. 2, 1977, in Ogden, Utah.
Mr. Miller was a convenience store owner for 14 years and owned a meat packing plant for six years.
He was a member of the Latter Day Saints Church in Rockdale and was active with the Rockdale Youth Baseball Association.
Mr. Miller loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Tammy Miller of Rockdale; two sons, Jess Miller and wife Mindy of Rockdale, Clayton Miller and wife Dani of Thorndale; a daughter, Melissa Montoya and husband Britt of Rockdale; a brother, Colin “Coco” Miller of Missouri; two sisters, Debbie Donnel of Providence, Utah, and Ricca Love of Caldwell; and six grandchildren, Jacob Garner, Jarrett Garner, Kellson Miller, Mallory Miller, Tucker Montoya and Troy Montoya.
Pallbearers were Tom Fisher, Loy Woolverton, Neal Ferrell, Charles Starr, Tommy Miller, George Malone and Butch Malone.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

McAnulty
Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth McAnulty, 100, were held Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor. Burial followed in Jonah Cemetery.
Mrs. McAnulty died Friday, July 18, in Waco.
She was born Sept. 23, 1907, in Limestone County to William Louis Goff and Mary Adele (Smith) Goff.
She married Bailey Bartow McAnulty Jr. on April 26, 1931, in Waco.
Mrs. McAnulty was a 1926 graduate of Rogers High School and worked as a telephone operator in Waco before her marriage.
She and Bartow lived in the Jonah community for over 20 years before moving to Thorndale in 1952. In 1981, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Mrs. McAnulty was a friend and neighbor to those of the Thorndale and Salty communities for years and was an avid supporter of basketball and band when her children were in school.
She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Thorndale.
Mrs. McAnulty was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Mary Sue; her parents; a sister, Celia Koepp; and a son-in-law, Richard Stewart.
Survivors are two sisters, Roxie Goff and Willie Woolbright of Waco; a daughter, Maurice Stewart of Fort Worth; a son, Bailey McAnulty III and wife Ann of Thorndale; and a grandson, Brian McAnulty of Round Rock; also, many extended family members and friends.
