The Thorndale Bulldogs maintained their status at the No. 1 team in Class 2A with a couple of decisive run-rule wins in district play.
It’s been fi ve years since the Rockdale Lady Tigers have entered the state playoffs, but they have put themselves in position to remedy that fact as the second half of district play begins.
The Rockdale Tigers have yet to scratch the win column in District 20-3A play as hard luck losers, dropping all fi ve league games by a total of only 11 runs.
