Milano Xmas parade to be held Saturday

The Milano Christmas parade will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. This is always a fun event for the entire community. CHRISTMAS PREP— The preparation for Christmas gets harder and easier every year. Sometimes we get lost in all of the chaos, lights and sounds of the season.

Downtown Rockdale was alive with people enjoying the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce’s Winter Wonderland festivities including the annual lighted Christmas Parade on Saturday evening. Above right, Santa and Mayor Ward Roddam led the parade on top of a flashing firetruck from the Rockdale VFD.

QUICK LOOK

The RISD Band program will hold its Christmas Concert on Thursday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. in the RHS auditorium. The night will feature the Rockdale Beginning Band, the concert/Symphonic Band, the Jazz Band and the Big Blue Band.
