Temporary shutdown at tax office

The Milam County Tax Office’s Rockdale substation is closing, temporarily, on Thursday. Since this is the height of local tax season—Jan. 31 is the last day to pay without penalty unless you’re using the split-payment option—extended hours are being offered at the Cameron office.
