RISD REPORT February was observed as Career and Technical Education Month in the Rockdale ISD. Britina Pesak, CTE director for the Rockdale ISD, said the month’s theme was “Celebrate Today, Own Tomorrow.

First ‘moot court’ competition in April

For the first time, Milam County will sponsor a “moot court” competition at the Milam County Courthouse on April 23 and 24. All five schools of the county will participate in this historic event, including Buckholts, Cameron, Milano, Thorndale and Rockdale.

10-20-40-100 YEARS AGO 100 YEARS AGO.... The flu pandemic would not loosen its grip on Rock-dale. The Reporter noted 14 members of a Forest Grove family had contacted the disease and one had already died.
