Concrete was poured at Rockdale Junior High last Thursday in a phase of all the work being done on that campus. The construction won't be finished until March of 2025, but enough of the classrooms and new cafeteria will be complete by the time students come back in August.

City of Rockdale approves new comp plan

On Monday, July 8, the Rockdale City Council adopted the new Rockdale Mid-Century Comprehensive Plan, wrapping up 15 months of work by the planning team and the community. This new plan looks at how Rockdale can responsibly grow through the year 2050.
