Milam County 4-H members excel at HLSR

Milam County 4-H members showcased their knowledge, preparation and determination as they competed in multiple contests at the prestigious Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
PRESENTATION—Texas House Rep. Stan Gerdes gave Trail Life Troop TX-1516 a Texas flag that was flown over the Texas Capital in honor of the troop. Included was a certificate that read in part, this flag “was flown at the Capital of the Sovereign State of Texas in recognition of your organization providing youth mentorship and character development.” Our local Rockdale Trail Life Troop is proud to have received this flag. We are very thankful to Rep. Gerdes for honoring us in this way,” said Pastor Steve Ammo
