Free school meals for all students

Rockdale ISD Child Nutrition department has announced the district will provide free meals for all students for the 2022-23 school year. The meals will include one entrée, one choice of milk and student’s choice of fruit and vegetables for both breakfast and lunch.

Rockdale Police Officers made four felony arrests during the past week including: • Daniela Valdez, 41, Rockdale was arrested on Tuesday by Ofc. Hensley for a warrant for theft of property ($2,500 to $30,000). • Jesus Sanchez, 26, Rockdale, was arrested on Wednesday by Sgt.

FIRE CALLS

Rockdale VFD Responded to: • North FM 908 and CR 302 for a grass fire on Wednesday. • US 79 and CR 306 for a grass fire on Friday. • US 77 and FM 908 for a vehicle that hit a hog on Friday. • 312 East Hamilton for smoke in the house on Saturday, but there was no fire.
