Rockdale’s first leadership class got kicked off on Thursday at the MDD building downtown with a catered dinner by Coronas Mexican Restaurant and Cliff’s Tavern.

Rockdale PD makes four felony arrests during past week

Rockdale Police Officers made four felony arrests during the past week including: • Stacy Ann Leystra, 46, Rockdale, was arrested on Tuesday by Sgt. Fain for a warrant from the Milam County Sheriff’s Department for burglary of a building.

Rockdale VFD Responded to: • 1202 Alcoa for a limb on a power line. • 472 CR 307 for a fire alarm. • Oaklawn Drive for a report of smoke behind a house. • West US 79 and Western Hills Road for a vehicle rollover on the railroad tracks. • Cameron/Green for a two-vehicle accident with injuries.

Jail log lists all people charged with offenses through the county jail in Cameron. Charges may change during the process. Persons are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.
