Well, what did you all make for your Father’s Day meal? We had our annual shrimp and crab boil which was cooked outside and it sure was good. We normally do this meal in early spring but that didn’t work out this year so we did it for Father’s Day.

PARADE, MEAL— The City of Milano has announced its annual Independence Day parade will take place this year. However, the event will be held on Saturday, July 3. The parade will start at 10:30 a.m. in the football field parking lot.

Not much happening this Monday morning. It is cloudy but will probably clear before noon. It is already hot. I’m sitting here by the phone and we are always getting phone calls for the beauty shop wanting us to get the deal set up for credit cards.

ORGANIZATIONS

Milam Community Theatre will present “Charlotte’s Web” at their location at 408 South Columbus Avenue in Cameron. Upcoming performances are Friday, June, 25; Saturday, June 26; Friday, July 2; and Saturday, July 3. All performances are at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5, with children 3 and under free.
