Farmers’ Market this Saturday morning

The Rockdale Chamber of Commerce is holding a farmers’ market on the grounds of the of the historic Coffield Stone Tree House at 1203 W. Cameron. The market is held each Saturday from now until the end of October. The hours are 8 a.m. to noon.

Railroad Museum sets dates for Jr. Engineers The Milam County Railroad Museum is setting aside four Saturday mornings for Junior Engineers. Beginning July 10, the museum will be open from 10 a.m. to noon for Junior Engineers ages 9-17 to enjoy sessions in model railroad building.

A 33-year-old Rockdale man was arrested Friday at 5:15 p.m. by officer Zachary Krejci on a Mason County warrant for man/delivery of controlled substance (less than 1 gram). A 36-year-old woman out of Austin was arrested Saturday at 1:12 a.m.

• Wednesday, 9:46 p.m., Milano VFD responded to the 1100 block of CR 336 for a report that a house that was being torn down was on fire. Firefighters discovered that there was an unreported controlled burn going on. • Thursday, 5:05 a.m.
