Rockdale Independent School District has hired Cheyenne Miller as the new principal of Rockdale Intermediate School. Rockdale ISD trustees named Miller at the June 21 board meeting. Miller is currently the assistant principal of Rockdale Intermediate.

RISD approves budget for coming school year

The Rockdale Independent School District school board approved the budget for fiscal 2021-22 Monday night in a meeting in the conference center on the high school campus. The budget includes $16,345,308 in the general fund, $1,143,237 in food services and $2,480,470 in debt service.
