Another record set for COVID cases in Milam County

Total is 277 cases, eight more than yesterday

From Milam County Judge Steve Young

Ladies & Gentlemen:

Today we report 12 new confirmed cases and 4 discharged cases, bringing the total active confirmed cases in the County to 277.  This is eight more than we reported just yesterday.  One individual was hospitalized and 4 were discharged.  There are no new deaths.

On a positive note, we administered the first new “third” round shot today.  This is for those who are immune deficient.  If you or someone you know is in that category, please call 254 697 7000 and get on the list.  The “booster” shots are for those who are not immune deficient and are eight months post second vaccination shot.  These will be available later this month.
