CAMERON—It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frances P. Yount. Frances died Sunday, June 28, 2026, in a Temple hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 2, at Minerva Cemetery in Minerva.
Frances was born Aug. 27, 1959, in Hanover to Elisha and Rosie Mowdy.

Louie Vaughn Edelmon, 92, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, at a residential care home in Lewisville.
He was born Oct. 28, 1933, in San Angelo to Louie Cole Edelmon and Willie Opal Tubbs Edelmon.
Alfred E. Owens, 93, of Weir passed away Sunday evening, June 14, 2026, at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 18, at Milano Cemetery in Milam County, with Rev. Alex Berrios officiating.

Phillip Stephenson, 69, of Rockdale passed away on June 13, 2026.
Born on Oct. 24, 1956, in La Marque, Phillip was the son of William and Eula Stephenson.
He lived a life marked by hard work, kindness and a genuine love for people.
Manuela “Mamie” Guzman, 84, of Rockdale was called home by Our Lord on June 12, 2026.
