Deacon Obbie Herman Mack, born March 1, 1931, entered into eternal rest on Dec. 22, 2017, at Scott & White Hospital in Temple after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Pearlie M. Mack of 68 years; two sons, Willie Van Mack and Larry D. Mack; and four daughters, Linda C. Thompson, Peggy A.

Memorial services for Tom Wilson, 71, of Gause will be from 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at Gause Baptist Church in Gause with Pastor Jason Lasher officiating. Mr. Wilson died Sunday, Dec. 24, at his home near Gause.
