Kenneth Ray Knox, 75, of Rockdale died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at his home after a long battle with cancer. Per his wishes there will be no funeral or burial services. He donated his body to Texas A&M Medical Science Department. Mr. Knox was born in Sinton on Sept.

Ida Vay Shockley Ponzer, 94, of Rolla, Missouri, died Feb. 6, 2018. She was born in a tent on Dec. 17, 1923, near Vay, Idaho, the seventh child of 10. She lived most of her life in Minnesota and retired in Missouri.

Jo Ann Caf fey, 78, died peacefully during her sleep Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018. Graveside services were held Tuesday, Feb. 6, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale with Rev. Gary Veit officiating. Ms. Caffey was born April 22, 1939, in Rockdale to Richard Develson and Margaret Emma (Hirt) Doss.

On January 25, 2018, Jack Delbert Kyle, beloved husband, f a the r, and grandfather, took his final ear thl y walk and walked into the presence of his Lord and Savior. Jack, the fifth child born to Jack Anthis Kyle and Birdie Mae Henry, greeted the world on Jan. 13, 1931 in Rockdale.

Nora Overman Morris

Nora Overman Morris passed away peacefully from this life on Jan. 7, 2018, in Texas City, at the age of 86. Though our hearts are sad, our souls rejoice that she is with her Lord and Sav i o r, healed of her earthly health problems and now reunited with many family and friends.

Rhandi Jean Vincent Parish, 66, passed away on Jan. 24, 2018, at her home in Corpus Christi. Rhandi was born Aug. 11, 1951, in San Marcos,- to Duane and Franette Vincent. She graduated from Rockdale High School and attended Texas Tech University.
