Mr. Hall
Jerry Wayne Hall, 82, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026.
Jerry was born on Oct. 19, 1943, in Stamford to Henr y Clay Hall and Lenner Johnson Hall. He was the youngest of seven children and grew up surrounded by a large, loving family.
He graduated from Bangs High School and carried a strong work ethic and quiet determination throughout his life.
Jerr y had a lengthy employment with TU Electric before taking an early retirement. Never one to sit still, he began a second career with Milam County Precinct 1, where he faithfully served for nearly 10 years before fully retiring. He was respected for his dependability, integrity and willingness to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed.
Above all else, Jerry treasured his family. He found great joy in watching his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow and was proud of each of their accomplishments.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, quick wit and the unconditional love he shared with those around him.
Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Woods Hall; his parents, Henry Clay and Lenner Johnson Hall; and his siblings, Nathan Hall, Evelyn Hanson, Billy Joe Hall, Juanita Mayes, James Hall and Jo Linda Hall Voyles.
He is survived by his daughter, Janet Hundle and husband Melvin; his son, Jeff Hall and wife Wendy; his grandchildren, Jacey Gray, James Hall, Kassidy Harless and Jaden Salem; and his great-grandchildren, Kayson Gray, Kallie Hundle and Violet Hall; also, a multitude of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Pal lbearer s include James Hall, Jonny Salem, Jacob Harless, Kayson Gray, Craig Pierce, Brian Pierce and Bobby Hall.
The family will receive extended family and friends for a visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, July 17, with a funeral service to begin at 11. Jerry will be laid to rest at Liberty Cemetery in Milano following the service.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers and support shown during this difficult time.
