Milam County has 68th COVID death

Tonight, I regret to advise of our 68th COVID-19 related death. Sadly, I know there are more to come. None of those who died have been fully vaccinated. Please encourage vaccinations.

We also have 18 new cases to report and five individuals were hospitalized. We currently have 199 active confirmed cases in the County and 12 individuals hospitalized.

2026 total cases

124 active cases (minus 8)

1576 Probable cases (Antigen detected test results, not included in total case count)

75 Active cases (minus 16)

199 active confirmed COVID cases in Milam County.

320 total hospitalized

12 currently hospitalized (plus 1)

68 fatalities (plus 1)

Six (6) individual(s) hospitalized is in serious condition (vents)

15 tested in Rockdale with 2 positives or 13.33%.
