Milam County 4-H members recently competed at the Heart of Texas Consumer and Ag Product ID Contest in Waco.
Below are the results of the contests:
Consumer
Third place— Senior team: Gabriel Ramthun, Grant Widner, Marisol Hill, and Mallory McDaniel
10th place—Junior team: Sean Millican, Luke Holcombe, Jadyn Parker, Evie Hill.
16th place—Junior team: Austin Millican, Breleigh Glaser, Klay Eschberger, and Owen Graham.
Sixth place—Grant Widner.
Seventh place—Marisol Hill
Ag Product ID
Fourth place—senior team: Gabriel Ramthun, Grant Widner, Marisol Hill, and Mallory McDaniel.
Ninth place—Junior team: Evie Hill, Klay Eschberger, Kaleb Yount, Jessica Yount.
15th place—Junior team: Adyson Parker, Colton Webb, Luke Holcombe, and Hayden Johnson.
Great job to our kids at Heart of Texas Consumer and Ag Product ID contests. NEW TIME—We are listing a new time for the annual Christmas Cottage and Craft Fair program set for Nov. 8 at Bea’s Kitchen in downtown Cameron.
Time is now 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Previously it was listed as 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Christmas Cottage provides you an opportunity to shop for holiday gifts and decorations, get new ideas and enjoy a great lunch.
Mark Nov. 8 on your calendar.
The admission is free, so stop by and have a look at the different booths. Doors will be open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Lunch will be available starting at 11 a.m. We will also have a door prize drawing during the 12-noon lunch hour.
Rockdale Coffee Roasters will be selling coffee outside.
Door prizes include gift certificates to our local businesses.
For many years the Extension Education Association Clubs and the Family and Community Health Committee has worked with the Milam County Extension Office to provide this opportunity to look, shop, and eat at the Christmas Cottage and Craft Fair.
Join us Nov. 8 for some early Christmas spirit as you enjoy a great lunch and shop for holiday gifts and decorations.
