Milam County 4-H hosted the 4-H Holiday Gift Idea Exchange on Nov. 14. This program is an outreach event to give our community a fun and enriching experience to prepare for the holidays.

The 4-H’ers (K-12th grade) participated in and created a food or craf t theme for the holidays. They demonstrated to the audience how to make the item. This teaches the youth how to speak in front of a group in a fun and exciting way practicing skills to present speeches in the future. They then donated the item as a door prize for the attendees.

The following youth created an item and demonstrated it or donated one if they were unable to be present. Camryn Green also shared with the group her service project, CPS Rainbow Room. Many people donated that evening and donations are accepted all year long at the Extension Office.
