Blood drive planned at KC Hall on July 16

There will be a blood drive July 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus on U.S. 79 east of Rockdale.

The Red Cross blood drive is the eighth one dedicated to Naomi Ruelas who was 17 when she died from a rare immune disorder.

One can make an appointment to donate blood by downloading the Red Cross Blood Donor App or by visiting RedCrossBlood.org or one can call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) and use the sponsor code naomi.
