Grief Share program
continues Monday
“GriefShare,” a 13-week program is underway Monday at Meadowbrook Baptist Church.
It will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. every Monday at the church, 1401 Colorado.
Cost is $17 for the participants guide. To register visit www.griefshare.org or www.mwqdowbrookrockdale.org.
Malda Burns, director, said, GriefShare is for those grieving the death of a family member or friend.
“We understand there are other losses in life that create feelings of life, such as jobless, divorce, estrangement from a child or the loss of friends because of a move,” she said. “This grief is real, but it is not the kind of grief discussed in Grief-Share sessions. We encourage you to seek a pastor, counselor or church leader for help.”
