Rockdale Junior High wants to celebrate a successful year for staff and students. On May 25, we will celebrate students during our End-of-Year Awards Assemblies for sixth and seventh grades. Each teacher will recognize one student who has exhibited academic excellence for the school year. We will also recognize students with All A’s for the year. The sixth grade assembly is 9 a.m. followed by seventh grade at 10 a.m.
On May 26, we will celebrate students during our second annual end-of-year student celebration. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., students will rotate through activity stations including a game truck, teacher dunking booth, inflatable obstacle course, water balloon battleship, kickball slip-n-slide, an escape room, tug of war, face painting, open gym, and movies. Students meeting behavior and academic expectations for the sixth six weeks are eligible to attend.
We will honor the eighth grade graduating class May 27 during the Promotion Ceremony at the Rockdale High School Auditorium.
The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the salutatorian and valedictorian’s address, followed by the presentation of certificates from the Rockdale Junior High administration.
