It wouldn’t be May without the annual “Walk Through History” play staged by fifth-grade students at Rockdale Intermediate School.

The play, which has been a part of the final month of each school year for more than a quarter century, was staged recently in the intermediate cafetorium.

If features the entire panorama of American history, from pre-colonial days to the high-tech of today.

With a costumed cast of students, it includes many high points of U.S. History including military conflict, technical advances, the drive for social justice and plenty of famous figures.

The various segments, which include music, are introduced by students depicting Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty.

It was staged before an appreciative group of parents and other visitors.
