The Milam County Historical Commission hosted the First Friday Social at the city library on Oct. 5. The monthly sessions are designed as a get-together for Rockdale residents, including new residents and any other interested persons. Light refreshments are served. Hours are 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Next one is Nov. 2.
