TREASURE TROVE—Believe it or not this is only a very small sampling of the artifacts found on the property of Gene and Elaine Baumann which is part of the Rancheria Grande.

SUGARLOAF—A Texas A&M student’s rendition of what a park at Sugarloaf Mountain would look like.

INFORMATION FOR TEACHERS—The two photos are part of the local Rancheria Grande Chapter of the El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail Association which has a suitcase full of information and artifacts that any teacher in the county can check out to present to students. The presentation is stored at the Milam County Historical Museum in Cameron.

FIRST TEXANS—This is an interesting poster presented at the library on Friday. It shows all kinds of arrowheads going back to 13,000 years ago.
