MAKING HISTORY—Milam County’s newest Texas Historical Marker is at Cameron’s San Andres Masonic Lodge No.
170. A dedication ceremony was held Sunday. Members of the Milam County Historical Society attending included: (L-R) Jack Brooks, Randy Billingsley, Lynn Young, Dr. Lucile Estell, Geri Burnett and Joan Ratliff. The lodge was established in 1849 and chartered in 1856. Ratliff was one of the speakers for the occasion along with former Milam County Judge Dave Barkemeyer and current County Judge Steve Young, both members of the lodge.
