Milano First Baptist Church will host a Gospel Fest from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday. The event will include lots of Christian music, along with free kid train rides, bounce house, play area for the kids and free hamburgers, hot dogs and homemade cobblers.

Those scheduled to perform at the event include: Adam Greer, Milano First Baptist Praise Team, Zimmerman Singers, Johnny Mekusch, Caldwell Cowboy Church, Blane Gill, Julie Johnson, Ely Family, Tyler and Deanna Williams, Robert Whitmore, Clarence Davenport, Friendship Baptist Group, and Two Good Ole Boys & Three Gospel Girls.

The event will take place on the grounds behind the church.

PARENTS CLUB—

The Milano Parents Club will meet on Sunday, Oct. 13. Meeting time is set for 4 p.m. at the elementary school cafeteria.

AG FUNDRAISER—

Time is running out to get your chance at a “freezer full of meat.” The Milano/Gause Ag Booster Club is selling tickets as a fall fundraiser. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20.

Prize includes seven-cu.- ft. freezer, processed pig, turkey, and chicken, along with processing cost cuts.

Drawing will be held Oct. 19, winner need not be present to win. Winner chooses processing cuts and processing will be Nov. 25 at Westphalia Meat Market.
