Milano and Thorndale voters will each have one contested race to decide on May 4.
MILANO—In Milano, that’s for the school board with a four-person contest for three at-large positions.
Candidates are incumbents Carl Blake, Lynnette Taylor and Michael Taylor, along with challenger Dennis Magee.
The four Milano City Council incumbents are unopposed. They are Mayor Roddy Gage and council members David Gunnels Jr., Steve Honeycutt and Glenda Westbrook.
THORNDALE—In Thorndale the contested race is for the city council where four candidates, including one incumbent, are vying for two positions.
They are Stephanie Churchman (incumbent), Ashley Moehling (Towery) and Jared Melde.
Thorndale Mayor George Galbreath Jr. is unopposed for a new term.
The three incumbent Thorndale ISD incumbents are unopposed for new terms.
They are David Hall (board president), Kirk Becker and Dean Betak.
