Old Friends Annual Gathering

Pictured above are members of the Old Friends Annual Gathering which was held Tues., Oct. 8 at the Rockdale Country Club. The group was founded in 2011 by the late Leon Wenzel who was a member of the 1959-1962 American Legion Baseball Team. This year 20-25 members of that team and their wives and friends enjoyed a day of golf, visiting and food. Wenzel’s wife, Gaylynne, and Ron Seelke, John McKinnon and John Rinn have worked actively to continue the annual event. They try to meet the first Tuesday in October.
