The East Bell Tap House is shooting for a mid to late January opening. Co-owner Corey Vorn Kahl said he had two more televisions to install which will make the venue a great place for watching the Super Bowl. They are also hiring. Apply at eastbelltap/job-board.

The Rockdale Youth Baseball Association complex had a major sewer back up at the facility. RYB President Bobby Joe Tindle said, “The backup was caused by a failure in one of the main sewer lines connected to our system from the Shelton Street side. There is a concerning amount of fecal matter on the facility, so please make sure your kids don’t access the fields at this time.”
