MCT to present ‘Charlotte’s Web’
Milam Community Theatre will present “Charlotte’s Web” at their location at 408 South Columbus Avenue in Cameron.
Upcoming performances are Friday and Saturday. Both performances are at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5, with children 3 and under free. Tickets can be purchased on the Milam Community Theater box office at milamcommunitytheater.com.
Liberty picnic meeting to be held Sunday
The annual Liberty Picnic and Liberty Community Cemetery Association will be held Sunday. COVID-19 prevented them from holding the picnic and meeting last year.
“Please bring your favorite picnic lunch and join everyone for a day of fun and visiting with friends and relatives,” said Judy York, recording secretary.
The meeting starts at 11 a.m. at the Liberty Church with the picnic starting at noon.
If you are unable to attend, please mail your contribution for the care of the cemetery to Bill Follis, 3370 County Road 237, Cameron, TX 76520.
Milam County Girl Scouts acts of service
Girl Scouts of Central Texas (GSCTX) will celebrate their centennial, the 100th anniversary of the first Girl Scout troop formed in our area in 1921.
“As part of our centennial celebration, Milam County Girl Scouts has chosen to perform service in Milam County. We are looking to do 100 acts of service in our county. We are providing services for free. It can be for a church, organization, city, individual or group,” said Rachel Owens, Milam County Girl Scouts Service Unit Director.

Narcotics Anonymous meets every Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church.

AA meeting weekly at Crossroads Church Rockdale Peace Seekers AA meetings are at Crossroads Bible Church, 811 Burleson St.
The meetings are scheduled on Tuesdays and Sundays at 7:30 p.m.
Heavenly Treasures shifts their open days
Heavenly Treasures is now open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 9 a.m.-noon.
This month special is $5 bags on the July 6 and 20.
