MIGRATION IN CENTRAL TEXAS
“Migration in Central Texas,” the 42nd consecutive Black History Month series by Susie Sansom-Piper in The Reporter, will begin next week.
Mrs. Piper said Black Migration is the theme for this year’s Black History Month, which is observed each February.
She had previously authored series entitled “Ebony Etchings”. “Just Folks” and “Way Back When.”
This year’s series is dedicated to the memory of Mrs. Piper’s grandson, Jerome Hebert.
