Rockdale artist, Tommy Nienaber, will have an art show with his works featured at Link & Pin, 2235 E. Sixth St. No. 102 in Austin, from Feb. 16 through March 31. Nienaber started his artistic journey while recovering from a tragic fire caused by a natural gas explosion which caused severe burns. “The rush of creating and the concept of endless possibilities motivated me beyond words. Needless to say I made a tremendous recovery, and found true happiness in the same stride,” Nienaber said.” Gallery hours are Saturdays from 1 to 5 p.m. Nienaber will give an artist talk on Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. and a mini-rave opening party will begin at 9 p.m.
