Occasion was the church’s third annual Fall Fest and Classic Car Festival which drew the largest number of entries yet.

Twenty-five vehicles were on display, roughly double the number who entered the 2018 event.

Trophies were awarded to the following:

• First—Tommy Wimberly, Burton, 1929 Plymouth two-door sedan.

• Second—Valgene Horak, 1957 Chevy pickup.

• Third—Loyd Vancil, 1955 Chevy Belair.

• Fourth—Herbert Brauchle, 969 Camaro RS.

• Fifth—Russell Lambrecht, Sun City, 1965 Ford Mustang.

• Ladies choice—John P. Jones, 1924 Cadillac Victoria.

Judges included Leah Martaindale, Patricia McKee, Gloria Walker, Pat Owen, Annette Griesbach and Donnie Rinn.

First Presbyterian Church raised over $1,800 that will be donated to PackPals which provide nutritious meals for students in need in the Rockdale and Milano ISDs, according to church spokesperson Annette Griesbach.

The morning also included music provided by the Communities in Concert Band, food and crafts.
