Santa Claus is coming to Milano early this year. Santa will arrive at Liberty Church on Saturday, Nov. 30. Santa will be available from 3 to 6 p.m. Bring your children and friends and have your pictures taken with Santa.
This is a fundraiser for the Senior Citizens but there is not a set price for pictures. It will be by donation. For more information, contact Jane Friedrichs at janefriedrichs1@gmail.com or 512-455-9560.
PECANS—If you are in need of some pecan halves for your holiday baking, be sure to contact Jnett Morgan in Milano, 512-455-3894. She has fresh shelled halves in quart-size bags for $12 per pound and she said there is about a pound in each bag.
FFA FUNDRAISER—If you are interested in buying items from the annual meat, cookies and fruit sale from Milano FFA, be sure you contact one of the students, or advisor Lyndsie Willing-ham at the high school office, 512-455-9333. Deadline to order is Thursday, Nov. 14.
ONE-ACT PLAY—Milano High School’s One-Act Play group put on its fall production on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. The group performed “The Video Gamapalooza,” a comedy by Don Zolidis. The play took place in the high school cafetorium.
